“Are you happy?” It may seem like a simple question, but the answer can be trickier to figure out than an advanced Sudoku puzzle .Happiness is an overall state of mind that is not altered by our environment .Instead of desiring to be Oprah-ism, vogue or luxury, you also need a happy-go-lucky life .So, here are some happiness tips to get you thinking about the choices you can make, so you can have the best life.
One of the keys is happy diet .It means healthy meals .Eating the right food will sustain your energy levels, assist your concentration and keep you from feeling lethargic and irritable .Mood will be changed when you’re stressed .In order to help you improve your mood, you have to eat omega-three fatty acid like oily fish ,leafy greens and walnut ,proteins that found in fish ,meat ,yoghurts ,lentils and complex carbohydrates like bread and brown rice.
Secondly ,you need to do exercise constantly for reducing your anxiety and depression .By doing exercise ,you can also be able to enhance your moods ,improve your self-concept like the way you feel and think about yourself and give you a higher quality of life too .Exercise like jogging ,cycling or even jungle trekking in any gardens or forests can make you get closer to the mother nature and inhale fresh air .Besides ,studies have shown that people who train outside actually experience greater feeling of revitalization ,confusion and anger than who exercise indoors.
The third key to happiness is feeling connected to others .Happy relationship is not only for your partner but for whoever who loves you .It’s important to have a healthy sense of self in order to create great relationships .If you don’t feel good about yourself ,you’re vulnerable to sabotaging ,jealousy ,dependency and intimacy issues .Furthermore ,you must respect and love yourself .You know you’ll be fine if your relationship ends .it doesn’t mean you want it to finish but it is just that you don’t depend on another person to make you content .
The next key is dance no matter how old you are .Science can back up what we intuitively already know about music like jazz ,club ,house ,hip hop ,R&B and rock .It makes us happy ,really-really happy .Music affects physiological functions like respiration ,heart beat and blood pressure .It can also lower the amount of stress hormone cortisone and increase the release of endorphins , the body’s natural feel-good hormone .So ,whether it’s in a club ,your living room or in front of your bedroom mirror ,just do the robotic dance like Lady Gaga or shake your body like Shakira !
The last key is happy home .People always say:”Home sweet home.” Home is our shelter. The environment and your surrounding can affect you mentally, physically and spiritually. If you want to lift your mood, you can surround yourself with things you love by decorating your home with your favourite colours, accessories and furnishings. Moreover, you have to make sure your furniture is arranged properly. Open windows and doors everyday because fresh air and energy will circulate your home. Fresh air helps you to feel re-energised and more alert.
As a result, if you want to be happy in your life, it’s not hard to work at. As long as you can boost your well-being by practising the four keys above you’ll be happy forever. There’s an old saying that “Happy mind leads to a happy life”. Enjoy everything liven up your life and appreciate the present. By taking in the moment rather than looking back at the past, you’ll love life a lot more!
